Please forgive me if this is a stupid question. A former colleague that came to visit from India was introduced to her future husband by her parents, who arranged the marriage. Is this still a common practice where you live?
I haven't met my other half yet, either. We will meet him when we're supposed to meet him. Maybe there are still lessons we are supposed to learn before that happens.
@ Jen.. Yes..! The culture of arranged marriage still prevails here. Honestly, I dont really fancy the idea of my parents setting me up with a man, whom I will have to spend the rest of my life with..
I still hope and pray I meet him before my Parents besot to "setting" me up. I dread it..! But somewhere I guess the trend is in change..!
Thanks for visiting my blog..! And do keep visiting..! :-)
The question of arranged marriage is a part of Indian culture & tradition which isn't a question at all of your post? You'll know about that special someone when time comes. And, at that moment you feel that way!
